About HCP
The Workshop on Hard Computational Problems: Theories, Algorithms and Applications (HCP) promotes in-depth exchange among researchers and industry practitioners working on hard computational problems.
The workshop focuses on problem representations, theoretical algorithms, practical algorithms, and real-world applications, including logical constraints, mathematical programming, graph theory, combinatorial optimization, constraint solving, SAT/SMT, knowledge compilation, and learning-assisted optimization.
Previous HCP workshops have been held in Changchun, Dalian, Yinchuan, Duyun, Kunming, Yantai, and Shanghai. HCP 2026 will be hosted at Shandong University.
Dates: July 31 – August 2, 2026

To support the long-term stability of HCP and develop it into a high-quality forum connecting academic and applied frontiers, HCP 2026 will charge a basic registration fee.

Sharing recent results, exchanging research experience, and connecting academic work with industrial practice are central goals of HCP. We invite all participants to share recent research results, industrial case studies, and competition-winning work as presentations or posters during the workshop.
Note: each talk is expected to last 20-30 minutes. Poster session arrangements will be announced later.
